Through the use of recycled products and our ongoing waste reduction programs, our company is continually improving ways to control the use and disposal of manufacturing materials. Additionally, we encourage our employees, customers, suppliers and subsidiaries to partner with us in this ongoing effort.

Recycling Efforts

• WorkStream uses particleboard and MDF fabricated from recycled wood waste material and fiber generated from the wood residue that is left behind by lumber harvesting and processing.
• The cardboard packaging we use is made from recycled material.
• WorkStream recycles all unusable pallets and shipping crates.
• WorkStream partners with customers and vendors to reduce the amount of packaging materials required, often shipping products that are blanket wrapped in reusable blankets.
• We recycle all aluminum scrap metals used in the production of our products.

Use of Environmentally Friendly Materials

• The adhesives used in our laminate are a water-based alternative to solvent-based adhesives.
• We make every effort to use manufacturing products that meet standard for low VOC emissions.
• All painted metal WorkStream surfaces utilize powder coat paint that is waste free and does not require the additional use of solvents.
